Fruit Smoothie:
1 scoop Ancient Nutrition Protein Powder with Bone Broth and Collagen
1/2 overripe banana
1 cup berries or fruit of your choice
1 cup almond milk
If you want it more like a frappe add some chopped ice and blend for about a minute. You can also add any nut butter instead of the banana. You can buy the protein powder either in vanilla or chocolate flavor. I usually add a tablespoon of cacao powder to the vanilla and sometimes a tablespoon of chia seeds.
Green Drink
8 oz coconut water
cup of spinach and/or kale
cup of berries
Stevia if you want it sweeter
Blend for about 2 minutes.
Oatmeal Protein Cookies
Preheat oven to 350.
Mash 2 bananas, add 2 cups Old Fashioned (quick) oats, 1/2 cup nut butter.
Roll into balls and drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. You can also add raisins, cacao powder or chocolate chips, sea salt, vanilla extract, or just about anything else you think might jazz them up.
The book I referred to is: “The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook” by Mickey Trescott, and Angie Alt
